Where we're at
Much has happened since the creation of my Instrumental Progressive Metal project, Ominous Conclusions, in 2019.
This year saw the release of my debut album, Prequel, which was the actual birth of this project, and since then:
I've released another single in 2021 called Christmas Macabre
and the same year, I've release my EP, The Outsider, which is my first really Lovecraft-inspired music that I'd been working on for a long time.
the visibility of Ominous Conclusions has spread online through Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, blogs, podcasts, magazines...
my wonderful and very supportive community of metalheads and Lovecraft enthusiasts has grown
I've created a new instructional channel on YouTube where I provide video guitar lessons and tips for musicians and composers
and I'm beginning to grow a community of musicians and students with whom I am incredibly happy to share my passion!
Life as a musician
Being an artist, especially an independent one, is not easy
It's a lot of hard work, especially when you do this alone, and most of all, it requires a lot of perseverance.
There are so many things to consider other than the music... You have to focus on marketing, social interaction, building your website, getting yourself out there... (without losing sight of you art!) All this requires a lot of time and energy, and therefore, organization!
And there are some hard times too. I remember this never-ending period in 2020 when I had problems with the electricity at my place and I hadn't been able to use my gear and create for months... It cost me a lot of money and delayed all my projects, including The Outsider. It was incredibly frustrating...
But on the other end, it is also a very rewarding life!
I remember all the support and wonderful messages I received during that time when I couldn't keep going because of this problem.
Although I couldn't create anything new, give updates on projects or perform for my followers, I got their attention and their support! And for that I am incomparably grateful because it really helped me get through this!
There's also all the enthusiasm I saw when I finally released The Outsider: all the encouraging messages, comments, and articles. This is the most beautiful reward when you've worked on something so hard for so long!
And what about all the beautiful messages and comments I received recently on January 4th for my Birthday... I was over the Moon! I didn't expect so much support and it really boosted my motivation for this new year!
Finally, I don't forget anyone who has ever ordered something from my store; as it's not just because they like the music or because the T-shirt looks good, but because they actually intend to support me financially, to help me keep making music!
I am aware of that and I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart! 🤘🏻

Now, with everything that's in place and things going well, I want to go a step further with my most dedicated followers.
